The editorial board of the journal "Extreme Psychology and Personal Safety" (Ekstremalnaya Psikhologiya i Bezopasnost Lichnosti) invites specialists to participate in the preparation of a special issue titled "Risks and Resources of Teachers' Professional Longevity".

The planned issue is dedicated to studying the psychological, pedagogical, and social factors influencing the aging process and the decline in the quality of professional performance among teachers. The issue aims to address key objectives such as the prevention of professional burnout, correction of negative psycho-emotional reactions, formation of coping strategies (mechanisms of adaptive behavior), minimization of risks and threats to the psychological safety of the educational environment, and exploration of teachers' subjective well-being and related aspects.

Special attention will be paid to the resources supporting teachers' professional longevity. These include a conscious attitude towards professional development, accumulation of constructive experience in resolving pedagogical conflicts among participants in the educational process, identification of psychological reserves (work capacity, resilience, reliability, productivity, etc.), and the development of a set of non-psychological methods based on physical activity and leisure engagement of the teacher.

Modern education is undergoing a profound existential and technological transformation, accompanied by new challenges. We invite experts in the field of education to share their insights, supported by the results of scientific research and analytical data.

The special issue editor is Dmitry Vladimirovich Deulin, Ph.D. in Psychology, Associate Professor.

The issue is planned within the framework of the project "Risks and Resources of Teachers' Professional Longevity."
