On February 26, a webinar titled "Results of the Conference 'Zeigarnik Readings 2025': The Contemporary Field of Research in Clinical Psychology" was held at the discussion platform "Science in Publications: From Idea to Practice."

The speakers were staff members of the Faculty of Counseling and Clinical Psychology at MSUPE:

  • Olga Dmitrievna Pugovkina, Professor at the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor. Secretary of the conference "Zeigarnik Readings 2025," member of the editorial board of the conference proceedings.
  • Tamara Vitalievna Avakyan, Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Candidate of Psychological Sciences.
  • Maria Alexandrovna Moskacheva, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, member of the editorial board of the conference proceedings "Zeigarnik Readings 2025."

During the webinar, the speakers and participants exchanged opinions on the outcomes of the II International Scientific-Practical Conference "Zeigarnik Readings." They touched upon issues of publication activity, some controversial points, and also considered plans and prospects for the future.

During the conference, there were about 150 in-person presentations by specialists from 30 cities, including from neighboring countries. For publication in the proceedings, 150 works from various sections of clinical psychology were selected. The authors included students, Master's students, lecturers, Candidates and Doctors of Science. Representatives of related specialties also participated.

M.A. Moskacheva drew attention to the content of the proceedings, which turned out to be very diverse: topics ranged from the use of artificial intelligence to issues in reproductive technologies.

The speakers paid significant attention to the importance of writing and subsequent selection of theses for proceedings. Currently, the field of scientific activity has transformed, and while in the past theses necessarily had to present a research result, now they can represent a characterization of a problem area or a sort of research plan. During the discussion, a proposal was made to allocate such theses to a separate section. The question of the ethical nature of the forms and content of theses was also addressed.

Concluding the discussion, the participants agreed that one of the main tasks of the conference is to organize a platform for interaction among specialists, where everyone would have the opportunity to realize their intentions. It is for this purpose that it is proposed to look at conference formats and approaches to compiling scientific proceedings from a different angle.
