Representatives of MSUPE Participate in the All-Russian Meeting of Regional Education Ministers
From April 14-16, the Russian Ministry of Education is holding an All-Russian Meeting of Regional Education Ministers at the Mashuk Center of Knowledge.
The program includes a presentation of the ideology and practical implementation of the federal project on labor productivity, with the participation of Sergey Kravtsov, Minister of Education of the Russian Federation; Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation; and Svetlana Gashkina, Director of the Department of Budget Policy in the Social Sphere and Science.
Separately, the issue of directions for the development of pedagogical universities is being discussed with university rectors.
Participating from MSUPE in the meeting are:

- Olesya Vikhristyuk, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work
- Inna Golovina, Head of the Department for Interaction with Pedagogical Universities
On April 15, the final meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation took place. Participants discussed the results of the Ministry's activities in 2025 and tasks for 2026.
Sergey Kravtsov noted in his speech that competition for pedagogical universities in 2025 reached 12 applicants per state-funded place. Currently, 286,000 students are studying in pedagogical universities across all programs, and teacher training programs meet modern requirements — over 80% of graduates are employed.
Among the tasks for 2026, the Minister of Education of Russia specifically highlighted: the development of targeted training in pedagogical fields, improving anti-terrorist security in education, training personnel in response to economic demands, implementing tools to support teachers, and completing the development of the education development strategy until 2036.
Also on the main day of the meeting, Olga Koludarova spoke about the development of federal and regional innovation platforms in Russia, and there was a discussion on issues of educational work.
