Opening the jubilee XXV International Scientific-Practical Conference of Young Researchers "Evidence-Based Psychological Science for Practice Development: Research and Innovations of Young Scientists," Vice-Rector for Scientific Work at MSUPE Sergey Kosaretsky expressed gratitude to the event's partners – leading Russian pedagogical universities, as well as partners in the education and healthcare systems: "I thank everyone who was with us this time to make this conference happen. For MSUPE, the Young Researchers' Conference is a long-standing tradition. This year, we are seeing a record number of participants – more than 500 people – and a broad geography that fully justifies the conference's international status. Among the participants are representatives of the Republic of Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, France, Turkey, India, and Malaysia, including those studying at Russian universities. Furthermore, we can note a richer palette of thematic sections compared to previous years. The conference features 11 thematic sections, reflecting the diversity of modern psychological science and its connection to practice."

Then, Sergey Gennadievich read a welcome address from the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, Sergey Sergeevich Kravtsov:

"Dear colleagues!

Today, those who are creating the future of Russian psychology are gathered here – young researchers, students, postgraduates. Your interest in learning and education is a powerful driver of the education system. This is especially important now, as we begin implementing the Education Development Strategy until 2036. Scientific and methodological support for education is a priority, which is why the Coordination Council for Scientific Activity has been established under the Ministry of Education.

Upbringing, teaching, and helping children with special needs must rely on reliable data, reproducible results, and rigorous methodologies. This is how we will create effective programs and methods.

The Ministry of Education is building a unified trajectory for young scientists. Starting from school, we support the creation of psychological-pedagogical classes, where interest in the child's psyche and talents is born. Then – universities, grants, involving students in research. And also platforms for testing ideas – like this conference. It is a jubilee, the 25th. The efforts of MSUPE and its partner organizers deserve high praise.

Our goal is for a talented school student passionate about psychology to see a clear path: from a psychological-pedagogical class through quality education and science to a recognized expert and mentor of new generations.

I wish you fruitful discussions and new solutions in the development of psychological science. Good luck, colleagues!"

The Deputy Director of the Department of Personnel Policy of the Russian Ministry of Education, Vladimir Vladimirovich Bokov, addressed the conference participants via video link:

"Moscow State University of Psychology and Education is holding the twenty-fifth jubilee international scientific-practical conference of young researchers, which brings together Russian and international young researchers, experts in education, and Russian state policy in close, fruitful cooperation. Evidence-based educational policy and practice are the keys to the harmonious development of the younger generation and the sustainable progress of the country.

I am confident that the conference will serve as a useful discussion platform for solving tasks in the formation of new competencies among young researchers.

I want to wish all conference participants successful and fruitful work for the future of our country".

The Chairperson of the State Duma Committee on Civil Society Development on Issues of Public and Religious Associations, Yana Valerievna Landratova, addressed the participants with a welcome speech:

"25 years is not just an anniversary; it is a quarter of a century of tireless scientific quest, bold hypotheses, and practical discoveries. It is tens of thousands of young researchers who have passed through this conference and inscribed their names in the history of Russian psychological science. This tradition continues today, and I am glad that it is you, the current generation of scientists, who are becoming its new page. This conference has particular significance from the perspective of human rights and children's rights. After all, psychological science today is not an office-based study; it is a living tool for protecting a person, their dignity, their psychological safety, and their right to full development from an early age.

Science is born in dialogue. It is here, in these halls, that scientific partnerships are formed that later change entire research directions. I wish you inspiration, precise hypotheses, bold ideas, and convincing results."

The Vice-President of the International Congress of Researchers in Cultural-Historical Psychology and Activity Theory, Adolfo Tanzi Neto, addressed the participants with a video message. Watch the message
