Volunteering Today: Student Volunteers from MSUPE Honored at the National Center "Russia"
On May 21, the "Spasibo" (Thank You) Awards Ceremony was held at the National Center "Russia" to express gratitude to volunteers who have made a significant contribution to the development and organization of the center's operations. Over 100 volunteers from Moscow universities were honored for their achievements and active participation in the center's life.
During the panel discussion "Volunteering Today," Anastasia Viktorovna Zvyagina, Deputy General Director of the National Center "Russia"; Olga Viktorovna Petrova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation; and Ekaterina Yakovleva, Head of Documentary Broadcasting at RT, shared their views on the development of the volunteer movement.
Eight students from MSUPE were awarded for their activity during shifts at the National Center "Russia":

- Sofia Borets
- Pavel Gordeev
- Anastasia Gritsenko
- Alexey Kiselyov
- Danila Panov
Ivan Gubin received a special acknowledgment as one of the nine volunteers who worked the highest number of shifts. Kristina Kachura was awarded the "Heart of the National Center Russia" badge for active volunteering and received an invitation to join the Volunteer Center of the National Center "Russia."
The ceremony also recognized the mentors of MSUPE volunteers – Olesya Vikhristyuk, Vice-Rector for Educational and Social-Psychological Work, and Yulia Bibekina, Psychologist of the "Center for Student Volunteer and Social Activity," who received letters of gratitude for their support of the student volunteers.
Additionally, guests of the event saw the premiere of a documentary film trailer and enjoyed a musical performance by professional musician Reza Dezaipour, a participant in the "BRICS Melody" festival.
The ceremony was a vivid testament to the importance of the volunteer movement and its contribution to the development of society!
