Psychological and Pedagogical Support: MSUPE Develops Cooperation with the Ministry of Education of the Moscow Region
On June 2, a round table was held at the KURO venue to discuss the development of cooperation and the implementation of joint projects with MSUPE on psychological and pedagogical support in the Moscow Region.
Larisa Olegovna Sulima, First Deputy Minister of Education of the Moscow Region, spoke about the organization of preventive work and psychological support for students in schools of the Moscow Region.
Arkady Aronovich Margolis, Rector of MSUPE, outlined possible areas of cooperation between the Ministry of Education of the Moscow Region and MSUPE.
Specifically, the Rector of MSUPE spoke about:
- Scientific and methodological cooperation.
- Conducting joint monitoring studies to identify risk factors among students, such as ostracism, suicidal intentions, bullying, and radicalism.
- Developing technologies for preventing the emergence of these destructive risks and algorithms for action (including at the interdepartmental level) as part of preventing crisis and extreme situations.
According to A.A. Margolis, it is important to create a unified center for the comprehensive safety of the educational environment and to prepare teams of specialists for specific tasks and requests from educational organizations.
The round table was also attended by: Sergey Gennadievich Kosaretsky, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work at MSUPE; Olesya Valentinovna Vikhristyuk, Vice-Rector for Educational and Social-Psychological Work; Alexandra Andreevna Lisitsyna, Vice-Rector for Professional Education; Rimma Vyacheslavovna Chirkina, Head of the Department of Legal Psychology and Law, Faculty of Legal Psychology, MSUPE; and Anna Valerievna Ermolaeva, Deputy Head of the Federal Coordination Center for Ensuring the Development of Psychological and Pedagogical Assistance in the Education System of the Russian Federation, MSUPE.
Following the meeting, a number of practical decisions were made aimed at implementing joint projects on psychological and pedagogical support in the Moscow Region.
