During the first week of summer, specialists from the MSUPE project "Let's Play!" (Idem Igrat!) conducted a large series of free gaming events at eight venues in the parks and gardens of the capital.

Instead of playing with gadgets at home, children were invited to go outside – to play, meet other children, and create their own adventures. Such activities develop imagination, teach communication, and problem-solving. Every day, participants of the "Let's Play!" venues immersed themselves in the world of real play: from traditional folk and folklore amusements to role-playing games and games with rules.

The initiative aims to revive and popularize play – a key factor in the mental, emotional, and social development of modern children.

The flagship location was the Presnensky District, which provided several venues: the Moscow Zoo, Presnensky Children's Park, Park of the December Uprising, and Krasnogvardeisky Ponds. Additionally, games were held in Vorontsovsky Park, at VDNKh, and in the Rublevo settlement.

In total, more than 600 children aged 2 to 12 and their parents participated in the events. The games with children were conducted by volunteers – more than 40 MSUPE students who underwent special training under a program developed by educational psychologists.

As part of the project, a week of educational events for parents was also held at the MSUPE Child Psychological Center. Psychologists and educators at the center conducted a series of free lectures, master classes, and consultations on topics such as: how to support a child, how to organize play, and how to help choose an educational trajectory.

The organizers plan to hold the initiative regularly until the end of 2026 in various districts of Moscow. Details and information about upcoming events can be found on the website Byt-roditelem.rf.

MSUPE thanks the Presnensky District Administration for its active support in organizing and conducting the gaming events.

The project "Let's Play!" is organized by specialists of MSUPE within the framework of the Year of Preschool Education, declared by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
