Psychologists of the FCC MSUPE as Leading Experts at the XXXV All-Russian Conference on Telephone Counseling
On June 7–8, the jubilee XXXV All-Russian Conference "Telephone Counseling and Other Forms of Remote Psychological Assistance. Counseling and Counselors" was held in a hybrid format at the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE).
Organizers of the event: Russian Association of Emergency Telephone Psychological Assistance (RATEPP), Faculty of Distance Learning, MSUPE.
Target audience: representatives of emergency psychological helpline services, practical psychologists and psychotherapists, representatives of other helping professions, volunteers and organizers of volunteer movements, teachers, staff and students of secondary vocational and higher education institutions, representatives of public and non-profit organizations. Participants from many Russian regions connected to the conference – Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Yakutsk, Kemerovo, Kovrov, Vladimir Region, Lipetsk, Cheboksary, Samarkand, Shchyokino, Sochi, Kaliningrad, Abakan, Cheboksary, Chuvash Republic, Tuapse, Rostov-on-Don. Total number – 81 people.
Of particular interest to the participants were the reports of psychologists from the Federal Coordination Center for Ensuring the Development of Psychological and Pedagogical Assistance in the Education System of the Russian Federation (FCC MSUPE) :
- "Organization of the Service as a Condition for Counselor Resilience" – Yulia Alexandrovna Zhuravleva, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Head of the Distance Counseling Sector "Child Helpline."
- "Selection, Training, and Adaptation of Child Helpline Counselors" – Elena Valeryevna Vershinkina, Psychologist of the Distance Counseling Sector "Child Helpline."
- "Intervision, Individual and Group Supervision as Mandatory Elements of Professional Support for Child Helpline Counselors" – Olga Alexandrovna Plyushcheva, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Supervisor of the Distance Counseling Sector "Child Helpline," Full Member of the National Association of Supervisors of Russia.
- "Development of Emotional Intelligence: A Key Tool for Effective Telephone Psychological Support Counseling" – Elizaveta Vyacheslavovna Vakhraneeva, Psychologist of the Emergency Psychological Assistance Department, FCC MSUPE.
Summarizing the event, the President of RATEPP, Andrey Alexandrovich Kamin, noted: "The conference participants, especially those from the regions, were pleasantly impressed by the systematic approach of the FCC MSUPE team to the psychological support of telephone counselors, which is not limited only to supervision".
