On June 13, in honor of the main state holiday – Russia Day – staff of the Department of International Relations at MSUPE gathered international students for an engaging walk through the historic center of the capital. The event provided an excellent opportunity for the students to connect with the history and traditions of Moscow in a festive atmosphere.

The route went from the Bolshoi Theatre to Manezhnaya Square, past the State Historical Museum, the monument to Georgy Zhukov, Kilometre Zero, and the Resurrection Gate. The group then proceeded to Red Square, where a classic stop awaited everyone – a tasting of GUM ice cream.

After enjoying panoramic views at the Zaryadye landscape park, the students visited the "Traditions and Modernity" exhibition held at Gostiny Dvor as part of the international festival of contemporary art. There, they had the opportunity to attend a modern journalism master class conducted by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova.

The excursion took place in a friendly atmosphere. The students not only expanded their knowledge of Moscow's history but also took many vivid photos and, most importantly, gained a wealth of positive emotions.
