MSUPE Staff Participate in the Final of the "Moscow Masters" Competition in the Profession "Social Rehabilitation Specialist"

On June 17, the final of the city professional skills competition "Moscow Masters" in the profession "Social Rehabilitation Specialist" took place, organized by the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Moscow. In 2026, the competition brought together specialists from 44 social rehabilitation institutions – rehabilitation centers, children's rehabilitation and educational institutions, and social residential facilities. The competition united specialists with diverse professional experience. The youngest participant was 22 years old, and the oldest was 67 years old.

At the invitation of the university's partner, the Scientific and Practical Gerontopsychiatric Center, staff members of Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE) participated as honored guests: Elena Nikolaevna Zadorina, Deputy Head of the Scientific and Practical Center for Gerontopsychology at MSUPE, and Marina Vitalievna Kalantarova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Developmental Neuro- and Pathopsychology, Faculty of Clinical and Special Psychology, MSUPE.

Oksana Vladimirovna Shalygina, Deputy Head of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Moscow, delivered a welcoming address. She noted the uniqueness of the "social rehabilitation specialist" profession and the importance of a comprehensive approach in the work of these specialists to help people.

The winner of the 2026 "Moscow Masters" professional skills competition in the profession "Social Rehabilitation Specialist" was Alexey Ilyich Sabarov, an employee of the "Levoberezhny" Gerontological Center.
