MSUPE Signs Cooperation Agreements with the Moscow Region on Preparing School Students for Psychological and Pedagogical Professions
On Tuesday, June 30, the third strategic session on preparing schools in the Moscow Region for the opening of specialized psychological-pedagogical classes from September 1, 2026, was held in Elektrostal. The meeting, organized as part of the "Route to the Profession" project, brought together more than two hundred school directors from 46 municipalities of the Moscow Region.
At the strategic session, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of MSUPE, S.G. Kosaretsky, delivered a report on the partnership between the University and schools in organizing pre-professional psychological-pedagogical classes. Cooperation agreements were signed between Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE) and the administrations of the Elektrostal and Leninsky city districts.
As part of the planned cooperation, MSUPE faculty will work with students from 12 psychological-pedagogical classes in these municipalities. The signed agreements are aimed at forming a system of continuous education, ensuring a high level of student training, introducing school students to psychological and pedagogical professions, involving school students in research and project activities, and cover many other aspects.
Regular interaction with schools and direct work with students of psychological-pedagogical classes help identify motivated and interested applicants aspiring to careers in psychological-pedagogical, psychological, and defectological fields, and to maintain and strengthen students' interest in human-centered professions. Students of psychological-pedagogical classes will learn from the University's best teachers, participate in trainings, master classes, and other events organized by Moscow State University of Psychology and Education, and will be able to make an informed and correct choice when building their careers and applying to their dream university.
