XIII All-Russian Competition "Best Inclusive School of Russia – 2026": In-Person Stage to Be Held in Moscow on October 21–23

In 2026, the All-Russian Competition "Best Inclusive School of Russia" will be held for the thirteenth time, aimed at identifying and disseminating best practices in inclusive education across the country. The organizer of the Competition is the Russian Ministry of Education. The operator of the Competition is the Federal Resource Center for the Development of Inclusive General and Supplementary Education of Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (FRC MSUPE).

The Competition is held in four categories:

• "Best Inclusive School"
• "Best Inclusive Kindergarten"
• "Best Resource Organization for the Development of Inclusive General Education"
• "Best Inclusive Organization for Children's Recreation and Health Improvement"

Stages of the Competition

The Competition is held in two stages. The first stage – regional – is organized by the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and will last until August 15. The second stage – federal – is conducted by the Competition operator and includes the acceptance of applications from the constituent entities of the Russian Federation (September 1–8, e-mail: li-org@mail.ru) with organizations uploading materials to the Competition portal, a remote stage (September 9–30) , as well as an in-person stage, which will take place on October 21–23 in Moscow. The winners of the remote stage, 10 organizations in each category, will be announced on October 2.

The package of competition materials includes a cover letter with an application from the executive authority, a participant questionnaire for the federal stage, a participant presentation, a description of an inclusive practice case study, and a photo of the organization's building.

The "Best Inclusive School of Russia" Competition annually brings together educational organizations from all regions of the country, helping them exchange experiences in creating an accessible and comfortable environment for children with special educational needs.
