Methodological Recommendations for the Comprehensive Development of the Network of Psychological-Pedagogical Classes in the Constituent Entities of the Russian Federation Have Been Approved

The document, developed by the Russian Ministry of Education in cooperation with MSUPE in accordance with the Action Plan (Roadmap) for the Comprehensive Development of the Network of Psychological-Pedagogical Classes (Groups) in the Constituent Entities of the Russian Federation for 2026–2030, formulates, among other things, target indicators for the development of the PPC network, describes a model for organising activities, a system for managing comprehensive development, a system of educational learning outcomes, and unified approaches to shaping the content of education.

The methodological recommendations are intended for heads and specialists of executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation exercising state administration in the field of education, local self-government bodies, higher education institutions and vocational educational organisations, general education organisations, heads and curators of PPCs, additional education organisations, and employers. They are to be used in planning work, including the development of material and technical resources and the educational environment, and the improvement of methods and approaches to organising educational activities.

Psychological-pedagogical classes serve as a foundation for training future teachers. They help identify talented school students, instil in them a love for pedagogy, provide early specialisation, and address the shortage of teaching staff in schools.

The work on the comprehensive development of the network of psychological-pedagogical classes is being carried out within the framework of the implementation of the "Concept for the Training of Pedagogical Personnel for the Education System of the Russian Federation for the Period up to 2030", approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1688-r of June 24, 2022.
