On August 17, the jubilee, tenth cycle of training under the professional development program "Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST): Basic Principles and Practical Application in Gerontology and Geriatrics" was completed at Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE).

In the first 18 months, 353 specialists successfully completed the training.

The program's geography covered 31 regions of Russia – from Kaliningrad to Khanty-Mansiysk, from St. Petersburg to Novosibirsk. Specialists from Tomsk, Rostov-on-Don, Beslan, and many other cities joined the program. The core audience consisted of residents of Moscow and the Moscow Region – 81% of participants.

The majority of graduates are psychologists from various fields: medical and social psychologists, neuropsychologists, family psychologists, and specialists in psychological counseling.

122 graduates shared their impressions of the training, and 94% of them rated the quality of the program with the highest score.

On September 17, the 11th cohort of the CST program will begin. Participants will not only master the basic principles and practical tools of cognitive stimulation therapy. After training, they will have access to professional support opportunities: receiving a methodological guide for group CST delivery, completing an internship, and receiving supervisory support at the MSUPE Scientific and Practical Center for Gerontopsychology.
