On August 26, a working meeting with representatives of regional parent committees was held under the chairmanship of Igor Yurgin, Director of the Department of State Policy in the Sphere of Upbringing, Additional Education, and Children's Recreation of the Russian Ministry of Education. In a video conference format, participants discussed issues of deepening cooperation between families and educational organizations, as well as preparatory organizational activities ahead of the II All-Russian Congress of Parent Committees.

Opening the meeting, the Chairman of the All-Russian Parent Committee and Director of the International Children's Center "Artek," Konstantin Fedorenko, welcomed his colleagues and reminded them that the All-Russian Congress of Parent Committees would take place on September 7–8 in Moscow. He noted that representatives from the regions who wish to participate remotely must register on the platform of the "Znanie.Roditeli" project.

"During the August pedagogical meetings in the regions – in Crimea, Krasnodar, and Stavropol Territories – a systemic trend has been noted: the widespread participation of regional parent committees in discussions of the educational agenda. Reports now necessarily include indicators of parental involvement, primarily through parent initiative competitions. The next challenge is to build a vertical structure from the All-Russian Parent Committee down to the municipal level and directly to schools. Starting in 2027, systematic training will begin for the active segment of the parent community. In cooperation with the Russian Society 'Znanie' and the 'Mashuk' Center, formats and targeted programs are already being developed. The Ministry of Education will provide full methodological support for this process", said Konstantin Fedorenko.

Within the main agenda, several significant initiatives were considered. Albina Bikbulatova, Director of the Department for Work with Educational Organizations of the Russian Society "Znanie," presented the Unified Day of School-Wide Parent Meetings.

Participants paid great attention to issues of inclusive education. Tais Datsiuk, Head of the Department of Education for Children with Special Educational Needs of the Department of State Policy for the Protection of Children's Rights of the Russian Ministry of Education, and Svetlana Alekhina, Director of the Federal Center for the Development of Inclusive General and Supplementary Education at Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE), presented the model "An Inclusive Educational Organization – an Educational Organization for All."

During the meeting, the results of the 2026 university admissions campaign and plans for 2027 were also discussed. Reports on this topic were delivered by Alexandra Khazova, Deputy Director for Educational Work, Teacher of Russian Language and Literature at the ANOO School "Vector," and Boris Gorskin, Director of the Center for Regulatory Support and Admission Coordination at Moscow Pedagogical State University.

Ksenia Serebrennikova, Head of the Integrated Communications Directorate of the "Movement of the First," presented the project "Safety in Motion," aimed at preventing child road traffic injuries.

Additionally, members of the All-Russian Parent Committee, Lidia Starodubtseva and Elena Grin, reported on the progress of creating a "Parent's Code."
