All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference on the Prevention of Crisis States in the Youth Environment to Be Held on September 9–10
Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE), with the support of the Federal Resource Centre for Psychological Services in the Higher Education System of the Russian Academy of Education and the Union for Mental Health Protection, invites you to participate in the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Prevention of Crisis States in the Youth Environment: Preventing Suicidal Risks and Radicalisation in Online and Offline Spaces."
The conference continues the series of traditional round tables held by MSUPE on the prevention and correction of crisis states among young people. It is held as part of the World Suicide Prevention Day, an annual event initiated by the World Health Organisation (WHO) with the support of the International Association for Suicide Prevention, aimed at strengthening commitment and encouraging activities for suicide prevention.

Participant categories: heads and specialists of psychological services in the higher education system, teaching staff of higher education institutions, heads and staff of departments of the Russian Academy of Education, counselling psychologists, psychiatrists, hotline specialists providing remote support to the public (helplines), students of bachelor's and specialist programmes (3rd–5th year), master's students and postgraduates in the fields of 37.03.01, 37.05.01, 37.05.02 Psychology in the areas of psychological counselling and psychodiagnostics, clinical psychology, and extreme psychology.
Conference goal: to discuss issues of suicidal and destructive behaviour among young people in order to determine the current profile of the crisis state of modern youth for developing strategies for its diagnosis, prevention, and psychological correction (individual psychological and crisis assistance, referral for additional medical, psychological, and psychotherapeutic support); to discuss the risks of the spread of destructive ideologies in the educational space and the model of a psychologically safe online and offline environment for young people capable of compensating for the negative influence of structural factors contributing to radicalisation.
