Experts from the MSUPE Department of Ethnopsychology Appear in the Media Project "Resource Environment"

On September 22, staff members of the Department of Ethnopsychology and Psychological Problems of Multicultural Education, Faculty of Social Psychology, MSUPE — Elena Andreevna Alexandrova and Yulia Yuryevna Djuad — appeared in the media project "Resource Environment" as experts in a conversation about the multicultural space of the Russian Federation. The coordinator of the media project is Alexey Abakshin.

During the conversation, issues of ethnic identity, intercultural communication, interethnic marriages, family and child-rearing in a multicultural society were discussed. In the context of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, issues of ethnic identity as a resource for competent and successful intercultural communication in our country are particularly relevant. The filming took place in the studio of the First Russian National Channel in an atmosphere of mutual respect and attention to current problems of Russian society. The interview participants managed to maintain a balance between scientific rigour and the interests of a wide audience.

"Resource Environment" is a television project about people, ideas, and opportunities that help preserve the cultural diversity of Russia, develop interethnic dialogue, and show new prospects for development in the ethnocultural sphere.
