MSUPE Students and Staff Invited to Participate in the "Golden Ring of Russia. Universities" Competition
Participants in the special nomination will be able to create their own route through ancient cities and win a trip under the "More Than a Journey" program.
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, together with the ANO "More Than a Journey", is holding a special nomination "Golden Ring of Russia. Universities." The event is part of the All-Russian competition "Know. Love. Be Proud!" in 2026.
Students, faculty, and administrative and managerial staff of higher education institutions are invited to participate. A citizen of Russia or a foreign citizen aged 16 or older who lives or receives education in the country may become a participant.
Participants are invited not just to test their knowledge but to create modern creative materials about the tourist, historical, and spiritual potential of one of the country's most famous routes.
To enter the final ranking, three mandatory tasks must be completed. First — complete the course "Standard of the Program for Civic-Patriotic and Socially Useful Youth Tourism 'More Than a Journey.'" Second — develop a card for a display site located within the Golden Ring. Third — create an original travel project "People's Route." It must include a visit to a university or university site with a description of specific activities.
The winners will be participants who take places from 1st to 1000th in the final ranking. They will receive certificates for a tourist trip under the "More Than a Journey" program. The winner will go on a multi-day route through the territory of the federal district in which they live. The organizers will provide intercity transportation from the departure city to the start of the route.
Registration is open until October 16, 2026, on the website znatlyubitgorditsya.rf. There, you must also select the nomination "Golden Ring of Russia. Universities." Completion of competitive tasks is available from September 25 to October 18. Results will be summarized by October 28.
