The third issue of the online journal "Psychology and Law" for 2026 has been published. The new issue brings together works by leading Russian and international specialists in legal psychology, penitentiary psychology, and interdisciplinary research.

The issue opens with the section "Methodological Problems of Legal Psychology," which introduces a shortened version of the methodology for diagnosing dispositions toward violent extremism. It covers issues of age and gender characteristics in the relationship between antisocial creativity and cognitive personality traits, as well as the normative model of a psychologist's professional activity.

Authors in the section "Penitentiary Psychology and the Practice of Execution of Criminal Sentences" introduce the specifics of attitudes toward family relationships among convicted men who have previously served prison sentences. Issues of social identity and stigmatization in the context of coping behaviour among convicts are covered.

In the section "Legal Psychology of Childhood," the authors discuss the connection between aggressive behaviour and perceptions of parental attitudes in adolescents, and the role of hostility and social distrust as predictors of deviant affiliation among adolescents.

The section "Interdisciplinary Research" presents comprehensive studies in the field of restorative justice regarding situations of juvenile delinquency and beyond.

All articles in the issue are available in open access on the PsyJournals.ru portal.
