Diagnostics in Clinical (Medical) Psychology: IV Scientific-Practical Conference on the 115th Anniversary of S.Ya. Rubinshtein – November 26–27

On November 26–27, 2026, the IV Scientific-Practical Conference with International Participation "Diagnostics in Clinical (Medical) Psychology: Traditions and Prospects. On the 115th Anniversary of S.Ya. Rubinshtein" will be held in Moscow.

Medical and clinical psychologists, physicians, university lecturers, special education teachers, social educators, social workers, postgraduate students, master's students, and students are invited to participate in the conference.

The main goals of the conference: to honor the memory of the outstanding Russian scientist Susanna Yakovlevna Rubinshtein (1911–1990) and to discuss modern means, directions, and scientific-practical problems of psychological diagnostics in medical (clinical) psychology.

The scientific program of the conference includes plenary and sectional sessions, lectures, master classes, and a round table.

Conference Topics:

  • History and development of the school of clinical-psychological diagnostics (so that we remember).
  • Methodological foundations and standards of clinical-psychological diagnostics.
  • Diagnostics in child and adolescent clinical psychology.
  • Problems of diagnosing neuropsychiatric pathology in young and mature age.
  • Clinical-psychological diagnostics in geriatrics and gerontology.
  • Artificial intelligence and digital tools in psychodiagnostics.
  • Modern technologies in clinical-psychological diagnostics (neurotechnologies, biofeedback, etc.).
  • Multi- and interdisciplinary approaches to diagnostics in clinical psychology.
  • Cross-cultural aspects of psychodiagnostics.
  • Social and ethical aspects of diagnostics in clinical psychology.
  • Challenges of our time: diagnostics of stress and crisis states (clinical and age aspects).
  • Poster session for young scientists.

Forms of Participation:

  • In-person (with a report, as a master class leader, with or without publication of abstracts).
  • Listeners (online/in-person).
  • Remote (publication/no publication of abstracts, online).
  • Participation in master classes.

Participation in the conference is free of charge.

Publications:

By the start of the conference, it is planned to publish a collection of materials (abstracts, electronic edition) and a collective monograph dedicated to problems of diagnostics in clinical psychology. [Materials will be indexed in the RSCI]. The program committee reserves the right to select reports, abstracts, and articles and to reject applications for participation and publications. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate.
