Young Russians Will Offer Their Ideas About the Future of Cosmonautics
The All-Russian campaign "Cosmic Dream" is being conducted by the National Center for Space Competencies with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
One hundred thousand young people will be able to offer their vision of Russian cosmonautics and take part in creating a bank of creative ideas within the framework of the "Cosmic Dream" campaign. This was reported to TASS by the National Center for Space Competencies (NCSC).
The All-Russian campaign "Cosmic Dream" is being conducted by the National Center for Space Competencies with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education; it will last until November 28.
"The organizers plan to collect at least 100,000 unique ideas from young people aged 14 to 35 and form a real bank of creative solutions for the development of Russia's space industry", the statement says.
"Cosmic Dream", within the framework of the all-Russian project "Space Chronicles" , is an online competition in which participants can describe their "dream" related to space, research, or technology. Regardless of the format of the application, all participants will receive personalized electronic certificates of participation in the campaign. Ten finalists will receive a real chance to realize their dream, the format of which is specified individually with the winners, as well as special prizes from partners.
The NCSC noted that the key goals of the campaign include creating a bank of creative ideas that may find application in the space industry in the future, involving Russian youth in shaping the image of the future of space research, and popularizing cosmonautics among adolescents and young adults.
"We are convinced that the future of cosmonautics depends not only on technology but also on bold ideas born in the minds of young people. The 'Cosmic Dream' campaign is intended to become a bridge between fantasy and reality. It is important for us to hear the voice of young people, inspire them, and perhaps discover new talents who will become the engine of progress in our country", concluded Elena Konstantinova, General Director of the National Center for Space Competencies.
Applications can be submitted until November 28; the results of the campaign are planned to be announced on December 6.
