From October 14 to 16, the Head of the International Relations Department at MSUPE, E.E. Mikhedova, and the Head of the Sector for Work with International Students, M.A. Arkharova, successfully completed training under the professional development program "Managing the University's International Activities: Modern Tools and Practices," organized by Peoples' Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba.

The program is aimed at mastering current tools and best practices for managing the internationalization of higher education. During the courses, special attention was paid to partnership strategies, joint educational projects, and effective mechanisms for attracting talented applicants from foreign countries. Issues of migration legislation relevant to the organization of admission and support for international students were also covered.

As part of the training, the Chinese Higher Education Exhibition was held, emphasizing its practical focus on developing international cooperation with the People's Republic of China.

At the exhibition, the participants were addressed by Zhang Wei, Minister Plenipotentiary of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Russian Federation, and Mr. Hu Wei, Secretary-General of the China Scholarship Council. In their presentation "The Educational Market of Opportunities," they presented partnership strategies, joint projects, and effective tools for attracting talented applicants from China. The experts noted the growing interest of Chinese youth in Russian higher education and emphasized the importance of direct inter-university ties.

The knowledge gained by the international department staff can be applied to further develop MSUPE's international activities and expand the partnership network with Chinese universities.
