On the development of the system of psychological and pedagogical support in general and secondary vocational education “Bulletin of Practical Psychology of Education”

The third issue of the online journal “Vestnik prakticheskoy psikhologii obrazovaniya” (No. 3, 2026) has been published. The issue is devoted to the analysis and improvement of practices for organizing psychological and pedagogical support in the education system of the Russian Federation.

The articles are published within the following sections of the journal:

The axiological and personality‑oriented foundation for cooperation and interaction among the subjects of the educational environment.

continuous education as a unity of learning and upbringing;
the philosophical and neuroscientific foundations of the affective turn in education, обусловленного связью эмоций и мышления in the learning process, are compared;
the results of a study of the relationships between the subject‑spatial environment, cognitive activity and emotional well‑being of older preschoolers are presented;
the perceptions of younger schoolchildren and their parents regarding internet risks and the specifics of parental mediation in the digital environment are compared.

The scientific validity of the practices of psychological and pedagogical work with children implemented in the education system. The section explores the methodological principles of traditional games, their developmental and mobilization potential, and the opportunities for developing children’s behavioral skills needed in dangerous situations.

Scientific and methodological support for the professional activities of educational psychologists. The articles in the section cover:

scientific and methodological approaches to the use of cases and video cases for practical training of teaching staff;
the relationship of psychological well-being of vocational students with the peculiarities of emotional communication in their parental families.

Professional training of specialists to work with various categories of children. The authors of the articles in this section:

analyze the psychological qualities of candidates for substitute parents;
describe the mechanisms of errors in children aged 6–7 with general speech underdevelopment (level III).

The psychology of personal self‑determination in education and profession. It is being considered:

the relationship between students’ professional identity and their psychological well‑being;
the role of an individual’s psychological characteristics in choosing a specific type of activity within the profession of a psychologist;
the specifics of teachers’ professional motivation in relation to their readiness to follow modern educational trends;
\the relationship between career proactivity and academic performance among first‑year students at a business school.

The development of regional practices of psychological support in education and the social sphere. The issue concludes with a section that analyzes:

the relationship between the aggressiveness of younger adolescents and their conflict management strategies and the characteristics of voluntary self‑regulation;
the experience of working in psychological and pedagogical classes as a means of developing psychological literacy and career guidance for high school students;
the features and potential of the “Drawing of a Person” projective technique in diagnosing the gender identity of preschoolers.
