PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The program is aimed at training specialists in developmental psychology of all life stages, who are able to see the actual problems of science and practice, set tasks, conduct research, analyze and summarize facts, identify patterns, understand the peculiarities of the mental development in the modern socio-cultural situation. Program teaches a high level of theoretical knowledge, the ability to research, teach and practice, to run discussions with specialists on the problems of the mental development of children and adults, the ability to identify and solve actual practical problems of developmental psychology. The educational process is based on the fundamental principles of L.S. Vygotsky, A.N. Leontiev, P.Ya. Galperin, L.I. Bozhovich, A.V. Zaporozhets, D.B. Elkonina, M.I. Lisina.LEARNING OUTCOMES
The formed competencies are related to:- research activity (to analyze the basic mechanisms of mental processes, states and individual differences, taking into account the anthropometric, anatomical and physiological parameters of human life in phyllo-socio- and ontogenesis);
- practical activity (to conduct diagnostics and correction of psychological features and conditions, mental processes, various types of human activity, taking into account the age, developmental crises, risk factors, belonging to gender, ethnic, professional and other social groups);
- pedagogical activity (the ability to design, implement and evaluate the educational process, taking into account modern active and interactive teaching methods and innovative technologies).
CAREER AND FURTHER STUDY OPPORTUNITIES
