The program is aimed at training masters in the field of cognitive psychology. Master's students studying in this program are able to professionally apply knowledge and skills of hardware-based psychological research in scientific and practical spheres.
During their studies, master's students master the methods of analysis and systematization of the results of scientific and methodological research in the field of cognitive psychology, learn to determine the prospects for the development of research work in psychology, taking into account the cognitive paradigm, describe the structure of cognitive processes and evaluate their models, taking into account classical theories of cognition and the current state of this field.
At the same time, students acquire skills in diagnosing and modeling the functioning of cognitive processes in systems with artificial intelligence, using modern hardware methods and psychological technologies, including the possibilities of virtual reality.
In addition, master's students learn to provide psychological assistance and carry out psychological counseling for social groups and individuals who find themselves in a difficult life situation, as well as to develop programs of psychological support for people experiencing psychological difficulties in various spheres of life.
Thus, graduates of the master's program in "Cognitive Psychology" acquire competencies that allow them to perform research, expert-diagnostic, and consulting types of tasks in their professional activities.
