The program is aimed at training masters in the field of cognitive neuroscience and neurotechnologies. Master's students studying in this program are able to professionally conduct both fundamental and applied research at the most modern level.

During their studies, master's students acquire unique practical skills in working with high-tech equipment for studying the brain and cognitive functions, including fMRI, MEG (the program provides access to the only magnetoencephalograph in Russia, located at MSUPE), EEG, eye tracking, modern methods of neurodata analysis, work with interactive brain-computer interfaces, and eye-tracker control ("eye control").

The program is focused on a full cycle of research using neuroimaging and psychophysiology, as well as on their practical commercial application. An important distinctive feature is the unique network format with the participation of Novosibirsk State University (NSU), where students complete part of their studies in person and can complete their thesis.

Thus, graduates of the master's program in "Cognitive Neuroscience and Neurotechnologies" acquire competencies that allow them to perform research and innovative-applied tasks related to the study of the brain and the development of neurotechnologies in their professional activities.

Graduates of this program are able to work as researchers in leading research centers (public and private), developers and experts in the field of neurotechnology (including brain-computer interfaces, biometrics, neuromarketing), data analysts in neuroscience, and also hold positions requiring deep knowledge of the brain and cognition in pharmaceutical companies, the IT sector, medical institutions, and startups.
